1:30 PM UPDATE-Crisis resolved. Now Big Papi can bring me back some fresh Sushi.
9:00 am As of this moment the Sox season opener in Japan is not going to happen. The Sox players just voted to Boycott the trip in support of some of the coaches who were not getting paid for the trip. The trip CAN still happen if the coaches get paid. In all honesty I don't view this gesture as honorable as you may think. Something tells me they are looking for any excuse not to go. I am guessing if they don't go they will forfeit the 2 games. It was sure fun yesterday when we got the the ballpark and nobody was around but the fans and a lot of security!
