I was looking for a picture on my sisters blog and found this little post.
I don't know how I missed it when it was originally posted but I must say I am devastated by this news. This would explain why my sister is so different than me. We are so different yet so alike all at the same time. We don't agree on Religion or Politics. She is Right and I am Left. I vote Erin most likely to cause a scene anywhere she goes whereas I try to fly below the radar at all costs. I remember I went to the mall with her many many years ago and she was not happy about the service she was getting from the clerk at the counter. My sister demanded that she talk to the manager, the clerk replied "I am the manager". I can't tell you what happened after that because I hightailed it out of the store. I can tell you I have never been to the mall with her since!
When we were young and we would go out to eat her food was N-E-V-E-R done right whereas I have eaten bad food before as to not cause a scene (that and I am convinced that if you send you food back the people in the kitchen do unholy things to it-once it's been delivered the food never leaves my sight!). How are we alike? She introduced me to Wendy, her best friend and my wife. Her husband Jermaine is one of my best friends, so we seem to like the same kind of people. We both love living in Maine and spending time with each others family's. So are we really all that different?
Shaun
Awwwww... I'm not sure if this was a tribute or a roast, but I like the attention either way! :-)
More Alikenesses: We're both taller than our parents. Ummmm...hmmm...I'm sure there is something else - Oh, yeah...work ethic - we're both pretty driven. We also adore our families and hold those relationships in high regard. We share a (sometimes warped & twisted) sense of humor, we both enjoy photography....I'm reaching now...one more....nope. nothing else in common. I demand a DNA test!
More difference: Food - you'll eat anything, I stick with the regulars. TV - you love it, I hate it. Movies: you watch them often, I can't remember the last one (non-kid) that I've seen. Technology: you embrace it and have to have it, I could care less. News: you know what's going on, I have no idea. You read the Wall Street Journal, I read children's literature (I don't think I have ever in my adult-life, read a newspaper - print or virtual).
It's all good though!

You both have thick, black hair covering your back sides.
I think Shaun is more of a people-pleaser where you are more of a self-pleaser (if not a neurotic perfectionist!).
But I love you both!

Hey Mr. K-SEA, why is the font SO SMALL?

Font fixed for you old people. Erin-It's both a tribute and a roast. I am forever scarred by your antics while we we young. In life everything equals out-I think I felt I needed to please to offset your need to demand perfection from others. I am the ying to your yang.

No two people are exactly the same. I suggest you take that DNA test. I am the only one who knows the true answer! Ha, it's great!
